Each user can customize the appearance of HERDEplus. It is possible to hide the menu to get the toolbar at the left edge of the screen.
Customize… | Set up toolbar and change icon and text
Show text | when active then the text to the icon is displayed
Big images | if active, then large 
instead of smaller used
Vertical | when active, the toolbar is displayed at the left edge
Menu | Default, if inactive, then the toolbar appears on the left
