All diseases in the period are included. Recurrences of the same diseases are also summed up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Definition of the duration of the disease<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When a diagnosis of an animal is reported for the first time, the duration of the disease is first determined as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Musculoskeletal disorders = 28 days<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reproductive disorders = 21 days<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>all other illnesses = 14 days<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If another treatment is carried out in the 2nd half of the duration of the disease, the duration of the illness is extended by half of the initially determined duration of the illness (in the case of fertility disorders = 7 days delay). If a further treatment is carried out during the extension period, the duration of the illness is extended again by half of the initial duration of the illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The breakdown of the evaluation according to the types of disease corresponds to the extended diagnostic key of the HERDEplus.
