Births, sales and losses are taken into account and automatically applied to the current livestock of the last month. It is possible to adjust the leavings in settings. The display can show either the average stock or the stock at the end of the month. The month-end stock is comparable to the age group definition <em>forecast<\/em>. For example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Number of milking cows &gt; amount of milk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Number of dry cows<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Number of first calves &gt; work peaks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Number of calvings per month &gt; work peaks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How the forecast works<\/h2>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-dsp-light-gray-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Based on the last complete calendar month, the next month is calculated on the basis of the set animal population changes.<br\/>Complete months are shown in &#8220;blue&#8221;.<br\/>All pregnant cattle have a future calving date, under the condition that these animals calve, the respective births are calculated for future months. This is based on the gender ratio of the last 12 months. The use of sexed sperm and the resulting increase in the number of female calves is currently not taken into account.<br\/>The leavings will be used for future population development, animals can leave. Although the ear tags are displayed in the detailed view, this is only symbolic in nature and does not represent the actual animal population of future months.<br\/>From month to month, animals can change to the next higher animal class, the displayed conception risk (last 12 months) is used for the calculation of the cattle to be inseminated and thus future pregnant cattle.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-dsp-light-gray-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The further away the month to be calculated is, the less accurate the calculation can become, if you deactivate the option only PT+, the already inseminated animals are also included in the calculation.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-dsp-light-gray-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For easy understanding, we recommend the <em>month-end herd<\/em>, which you can also use on the basis of the age class <em>forecast<\/em> both in the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.dsp-agrosoft.de\/en\/kb\/article\/analysis\/stock\/head-count\/\" data-type=\"kb\" data-id=\"3904\">livestock census<\/a> and in the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.dsp-agrosoft.de\/en\/kb\/article\/analysis\/stock\/development\/\" data-type=\"kb\" data-id=\"3907\">population development<\/a> .
